- Are the products made from recycled materials? Yes, all
of our paper and card substrates are manufactured from at least
50% recycled material. Upon request, we can furnish a substrate
with a higher percentage of recycled content.
- Can I specify what type of flowers for an item? ---
Ordinarily you cannot. We have based our costs on a colorful array
of flowers and it would probably deplete our inventory of a
particular species to offer this service.
- Can I change the border color within the job? Yes, but
you must have a minimum of 100 pieces per border color.
- Can I have my logo done in four color process? Usually
we scan your color image and print from whatever you give us for
art. If you wish to have four color process we would certainly be
glad to give you a special quote.
- What size should the art be? Ordinarily the larger the
better, up to 8 1/2" by 11". When the larger art is reduced to fit
on our products you will generally get a sharper and cleaner
print.
- Can I get a customized bookmark in a different size?
You certainly can. We are always glad to hear your ideas for a
custom product and provided you with a quote for your
project.
- Do you ship overruns like most suppliers? No, we have
neither overruns or under-runs. As all our products are hand made,
we are very capable of shipping exact quantities.
- What is the best time of the year for fresh flowers?
Spring and early summer are when we gather most of our flowers.
Because we are in Maine, spring tends to run a little late, but
when it does arrive the colors are spectacular. Our special
pressing and storage system allows us to retain the majority of
these brilliant colors for up to 18 months.
- How long is turnaround on a very large order? Almost
any size order can be shipped in 15 working days after approval of
art.
